"Terroir" Tasting
You will be welcomed by a member of the Boursot Family, who will introduce you to the history of the estate and the Burgundian vineyard. We will address the notion of terroir, by analyzing the geological map of Chambolle-Musigny, as well as the winemaking and aging process. The tasting will consist of 7 wines including 2 Regional appellations, 3 Villages, 1 Premier Cru, 1 Grand Cru.

Was hosted by the owners who explained to us in great detail the history and different characteristics of the terroir. The 7 types of wine we tasted were carefully selected and I personally really like the taste. We asked lots of questions and the owner brothers answered with great patience and detail. Compared with experience with those big names where you have someone who gives you the standard introduction, I really like the way that the owners interact with us. They are the ones who actually work in the vineyard and are lot more experienced.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment avec Romaric, qui a pris le temps de discuter, d'expliquer, et qui nous a fait gouter une large gamme de leurs appellations, jusqu'au magnifique Clot Vougeot. C'est un réel plaisir de constater que des vignerons gardent encore cette volonté de prendre du temps pour les particuliers.
